SYNOPSIS

Davide and Lucio live bondage on a daily basis. A discipline, a search, an obsession. They rarely go out; their home is the world where they can be themselves, ignoring what awaits them outside.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES

Still-lifes seeks to explore the particular and intense pleasure of being immobilized by one's own will and playing with this unnatural state at the edge of pain. To become a sort of living still life, even if only for the little that life allows. For a moment, the bound person becomes something else, chooses to be so, and approaches what man secretly longs for: to be inanimate, devoid of life, and thus eternal.
